The Original Correct Toes®

Designed by sports podiatrist Dr. Ray McClanahan, DPM, Correct Toes Original is a premium, anatomically designed toe spacer made from soft, flexible medical-grade silicone.

Rather than simply pushing the toes apart, Correct Toes is designed to gently guide the toes toward their natural anatomical position in relation to one another and the metatarsal bones. Restoring natural toe splay creates a wider, more stable foundation for the foot and encourages the toes and intrinsic foot muscles to participate more fully during standing, walking, running, and other weight-bearing activities.

Designed for Movement

One of the key differences between Correct Toes and traditional toe separators is that they are designed to be worn during activity—not just while sitting or recovering. Correct Toes can be worn barefoot, with socks, or inside appropriately shaped footwear with enough width to allow the toes to spread naturally.

When paired with wide toe box footwear, Correct Toes allows the foot to move and load while the toes are maintained in a more anatomically aligned position.

Anatomical Toe Spacing

Correct Toes was developed to create a specific degree of spacing between each toe rather than applying equal or excessive separation across the foot. The goal is to encourage natural alignment while avoiding unnecessary stress on the toes and surrounding tissues.

Customizable Fit

Every foot is different, which is why Correct Toes Original is designed to be modified when needed. Built-in cavities allow additional material or shims to be added for increased spacing, while sections of the device can also be carefully modified to accommodate differences in toe length, width, and individual foot structure.

Sizing

Correct Toes Original is available in four sizes: Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large.

While shoe size provides a useful starting point, Correct Toes sizing is ultimately determined by individual foot width, toe length, toe girth, and existing toe spacing.

Sizing recommendations should therefore be considered approximate. Customers with wider feet or those who fall between sizes may benefit from sizing up.

Best Used With

For best results, Correct Toes should be paired with footwear that allows the toes enough room to spread naturally. Shoes with wide, foot-shaped toe boxes are recommended. Avoid wearing Correct Toes inside footwear that compresses the toes or forces them back toward the center of the foot.
